Baruti AG looking for a Accounting & Payroll Associate to support our day-to-day accounting, payroll, and financial reporting activities in Kosovo.

This role is ideal for someone with some practical experience in accounting, finance, or payroll who is looking to further develop their expertise in a dynamic international environment. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, organized, comfortable working with numbers and financial data, and able to support accounting and payroll processes with accuracy and reliability.

Key responsabilities

  • Support daily accounting and bookkeeping activities, including processing invoices, payments, expenses, and other financial transactions.
  • Support the monthly payroll process, including preparation of payroll inputs, calculations, documentation, and reconciliations.
  • Perform bank, account, and payroll reconciliations and assist in resolving discrepancies.
  • Prepare and maintain monthly financial reports, accounting records, and supporting documentation.
  • Support accounts payable and accounts receivable activities.
  • Assist with month-end and year-end closing activities.
  • Maintain accurate and well-organized financial and payroll documentation.
  • Support audit, tax, and other statutory reporting requirements.
  • Coordinate with HR and the Finance team on payroll, accounting, and other finance-related matters.
  • Provide general administrative and operational support to the Finance function as required.

Qualification & Experience

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Economics, or a related field.
  • Minimum 2 years of relevant experience in accounting, finance, bookkeeping, or payroll.
  • Good understanding of accounting and payroll principles.
  • Good knowledge of Microsoft Excel and confidence working with financial data.
  • Knowledge of QuickBooks is preferred.
  • Familiarity with Kosovo accounting, payroll, and tax requirements is an advantage.
  • Strong attention to detail, accuracy, and organizational skills.
  • Ability to handle financial information responsibly and confidentially.

Fluent Albanian and good working knowledge of English.
